Oscar's Oasis (French Oscar & Co) is a is non-verbal animated cartoon produced by TeamTO and Tuba Entertainment in association with Cake Entertainment based on the original show broadcast on Disney Channel Asia Oscar's Oasis can be viewed on the Nintendo 3DS in 3D in Australia and Europe^. In the United States, the first 32 episodes can be seen on Netflix Streaming grouped into 8 meta-episodes of 4 episodes each. In Latin America and Brazil, the Spanish and Portuguese dub airs on Cartoon Network Latin America

Synopsis

Oscar is a lizard living in a non-specific desert that has features from several different real deserts, like the Sahara, Kalahari Desert and North American deserts. An asphalt concrete road runs through the area, and it is occasionally used by various trucks. A lot of garbage litters the desert, and the main characters are constantly exploring it. They find amusement with the different pieces of litter they encounter. Oscar is usually searching for water or food for himself while his friends sometimes help or hinder his search. He sometimes finds liquid in bottles or the ground but is not successful in recovering it to drink. Oscar will sometimes eat eggs he usually tries to steal for from a hen house nearby. Three unusual friends also camp in the area: Popy - a desert fox, Buck - a vulture, and Harchi - a hyena. They live in a derelict school bus. The desert has deep canyons and the main characters often find themselves falling down in same matter as Wile E. Coyote when chasing the Road Runner.

Character Oscar Oasis

1. Oscar 

 

The main character of the show. He is a lizard that is always getting into trouble with Popy, Buck, and Harchi and the chickens too. Oscar is always trying to catch flies and find some water, but most of the time things don`t come out right.

2. Poppy

 

One of the 3 bad guys of the show. She is a fox and also the leader of the group. She has a very strong personality and gets angry all the time. She seems to be the smartest one of the three.

3. Buck 

 

One of the 3 bad guys of the show. He is a vulture that often stands on the top of the wagon to gain speed. He has shown to be able to fly.

4. Harchi 

 

One of the bad guys of the show. He is a bandicoot that often drives a wagon. He seems to be the strongest member of the gang.

Minor Characters

5. Manolo 

 

A supporting character in the series. He is the driver of a truck that transports various items in the series. He is always asleep at the wheel with Roco driving the vehicle from the passenger seat by way of an elaborate set mechanical attachments.

6. Roco 

 

A supporting character in the series. A dog belonging to Manolo that drives the truck they are in from the passenger seat. He always tries to keep their cargo safe and frequently chases the major characters or tries to deter them from the contents of the moving vehicle.
